Sales, being sole revenue generating operation for most
organizations, can be a complex process because of the
intricacies involved and document processing required.
Sales also drives most other activities in companies and
the very existence of certain activities is to support sales
process.
The CANIAS ERP Sales Management Module facilitates
management of all phases of the corporate sales
activities, from offers to orders, delivery notes to
invoices and credit memos, with all documents
integrated using the document management capabilities
of the system for reference and archiving purpose. Due
to the parameterization of the processes, all types of
sales related activities can be performed, from execution
of simple sales processes, to more complex processes
such as frame contracts with terms of payment, third
party deals and inter-company processes. The CANIAS
ERP Sales Management module has the capability to
perform pricing both at the document header as well
individual line item levels. Volume-based scaled pricing,
discounts and mark-ups based on customers or
customer groups, and products or product groups, are
all made available.
Controlling sales processes across companies
Due to its advanced integration capabilities, high-level
information availability is guaranteed by the Sales
module. Additionally, the module allows higher visibility
in terms of accessing and viewing physical inventory,
multi-dimensional inventory analysis and analysis of production capacities utilized. Since the CANIAS ERP
system allows access to data from multiple locations,
data exchange with other organizations, warehouses and
branch locations is streamlined. This ensures meeting
delivery schedules that depend on the provision of materials
from suppliers, branches or warehouses.
The system guarantees multi-site process control for
operational efficiencies where branches and locations are
involved. It is also possible to carry out materials
movements, reservations and automatic goods issues,
while processing sales documents. In compliance with
the GDPdU legislation (Principles for Accessibility and
Auditing of DigitalDocuments), records are maintained of
all transactions that may be required for future
documentation; the system may also be configured to
save records in an automated manner. It provides
multilingual support for all text used in user interfaces,
documents and document line items, and also supports
world currencies and provides conversion between
currency units, allowing businesses to conveniently conduct their international operations. Significant amounts
of supply chain management activities are either initiated
or continued during the sales process, and CANIAS ERP
Sales Management module works in tandem with the rest
of the CANIAS ERP modules. This not only allows for an
exceptional level of information availability, but also
supports transparency of operations within the
organization.
