Parameterization for all sizes and types of businesses
Event and workflow attributes can be customized, and
are administered through the system base module.
Workflow management processes can be controlled
from the master data management feature through
manually adjustable workflows. Parameters controlling
functionality and processing are configured using the
check and administration tables feature and are grouped per module. As a result of the parameterized
architecture, system features can be conveniently mapped
to the requirements of a wide range of organizations of all
sizes and types.
Efficient system administration carried out with ease and convenience
System administration is a pivotal task in a highly
integrated product. System administrators should be
equipped with powerful tools and capabilities to tackle any
errors or conflicts user may face as part of their daily
activities.
The CANIAS ERP Base module provides all the features
necessary for system administration. In addition to the
management of user accounts (including the administration
of authorizations across the system), it also provides
calendar functionality, system reports and menu
administration that feature user-friendly interfaces and
controls.
Administration dashboard, an essential feature for system
administration, displays all active system configuration and
runtime parameters. The dashboard allows administration
of all user logon sessions, control and reporting of all
processes and configurations, as well as the display and
analysis of system error logs.
The CANIAS ERP system features an object oriented
architecture, which makes it convenient for the users to
flexibly customize the system according to their requirements. The co-existence of standard and
customized classes and dialogue objects are managed
through the Base module system administration
features.
Configuring user authorizations flexibly and individually
CANIAS ERP offers an exceptional level of flexibility in
configuring user access to the system based on
departments, organizational levels, user groups, and
other attributes. The following are tasks for which
users may be granted specific authority:
- Transactions
- Dialogs
- Select operations (regulating database queries)
- Save, execute, delete operations
- Group-based rights
- Dialog design
- Access administration for customized dialogs
- Access administration for customized classes
- Integrated groupware access rights
The system also allows Internet-based access by
customers and business partners external to the
