CANIAS ERP can easily keep up with the branch leaders

This year in spring the IAS GmbH participated in an ERP-comparison that was initiated by the GPS (a society for testing software) from Ulm, Germany. The task was to present a testscenario close to reality within a company group with several companies and works. That is, a real intercompany transaction with the whole complexity in Material Requirememts Planning, Production and Purchase.

Despite of the very short preparation period, compared to the competitors, that certainly costed the one or the other percentage point, the Industrial Application Software GmbH from Karlsruhe proved with CANIAS ERP that it is possible to keep up with the branch leaders even as very innovative but rather small system provider. CANIAS ERP was ranked 6th of 12 participating solutions just behind the world's largest providers: Oracle, SSA, SAP, IFS and JD-Edwards but still before Movex, PSIpenta, proalpha, infor:com, ClassiX and Synerp.

The test was divided into 3 categories: functionality, usability and flexibility. And it is worth remarking that CANIAS ERP even takes first place in as far as flexibility is concerned.
