Steel specialist decides
to rely on CANIAS in the future

Klaus Kuhn Edelstahlgiesserei, the experts
when it comes to centrifugal casting, have decided to use
CANIAS ERP in the areas of purchasing, sales, materials management,
production control and accounting and finance. The KUHN company,
whose expanding headquarters are in Radevormwald, has over
150 employees specially trained in the centrifugal casting
of bushings and composite cast pipes with outstanding technical
properties.
With respect to the density and purity of the structure, this
method is far superior to conventional static casting. The
company also offers pre- and finish machining of rotation
compressed stainless steel on state-of-the-art lathes, deep-hole
boring, finishing and polishing machines. With IAS software,
a conscious decision was made to replace an in-house development
with a product separated from the industry solutions offered
by larger competitors. The reason? IAS not only has a number
of reference customers in this area; used in conjunction with
the TROIA development platform, CANIAS ERP has also been proven
as a better product for quickly and efficiently representing
customer-specific process requirements. In visiting reference
customer Darrenberg Edelstahl on their own accord, Kuhn Edelstahl
became fully convinced of the merits of CANIAS ERP prior to
contacting IAS.
Thanks to the customer-friendly network user license model,
the company will operate the software with a total of 35 licenses.
Additional costs can also be saved by using open source databases,
made possible as a result of CANIAS ERP' platform independence.
