Hiring and Placement at IAS
Our foremost responsibility is to hire new graduates from the Software Engineering and Industrial Engineering departments of universities, provide additional and focused training at IAS, and help them advance their careers as true professionals, in accordance with the adage of "the right person for the right job".
Periodically throughout the year, IAS performs hiring based on its business needs. Based on requisition from the related department manager, the HR department advertises the position by utilizing multiple methods. Applications are first pre-screened, and telephone interviews are conducted with candidates whose skills fit the requirements. In case of the candidate's expectations and the requirements of the position providing a match, the candidate is invited for an interview. At this stage, the candidate is required to fill out a personality questionnaire, and submit to foreign language skills and aptitude tests. After evaluations, the HR department notifies the requisitioning departments of suitable candidates. Finally, the qualifying candidates are invited for an interview with the requisitioning department manager where their technical skills are assessed. Following this stage, the approved candidates are contacted by the HR department with job offers.
Those newly joining IAS are required to participate in orientation sessions, individually or as part of a group. Orientation programs have the goal of providing a smooth process for joining the organization and becoming a part of it, and include the following topics:
- IAS vision, mission, goals and objectives
- Current and future plans of the organization
- Workflow processes for internal administrative services
- Corporate culture
- Organizational structure
- Workplace rules
- Performance evaluation systems
